More Information

The modern campgrounds features wooded sites spread between two loops. The Upper Loop overlooks Grousehaven Lake, and the Lower Loop is level with the lake. There is an accessible toilet and shower building, a designated swim beach and easy access to the park’s 14-mile multiuse trail.

The AuSable River Scenic Byway is located 20 miles east of the park. Along this byway are many attractions, including Lumbermen's Monument Visitor Center and Iargo Springs.

Swimming: A designated swim area on Grousehaven Lake is in the campground. There is an accessible beach mat to the water’s edge and a beach wheelchair is available to borrow.

Sanitation Station: The park’s sanitation station is located adjacent to the campground. There is potable water available and two lanes.
