More Information
The Warner Creek Pathway is located in the Mackinaw State Forest, 15 miles west of Gaylord. It is a busy trail in the winter for skiing as it offers beautiful scenery and solitude as it follows along Warner Creek. It winds through a potentially rugged part of Hardwood Hills; however, the trail is relatively easy to navigate as it is 3.8 miles, and composed of only one loop. Once you reach O’Brien’s Pond, the trail gets noticeably wetter, making it primarily a winter activity trail. However, if you’re up for adventure, the trail is open year round for hiking as well.
