Grass Lake State Forest Campground is managed by Colfax Township. Located on Grass Lake Flooding, this 15-site campground is best suited for tent and small trailer use. The campground provides easy access to the Betsie River that provides oppportunities for paddling, canoeing and fishing.

All sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations.

Grass Lake Flooding provides fishing opportunities for bass, perch and bluegill. Betsie River provides opportunities for trout. Turtle Lake (5 miles northwest) provides opportunities for bass, bluegill and perch.
