This rustic campground is tucked away on top of a heavily wooded rolling hill along the shore of Spring Lake. The campground provides excellent hiking and fishing opportunities. Located in Grand Traverse County, 2 miles southwest of Fife Lake.

This campground is managed by Mitchell State Park.

This rustic campground is tucked away on top of a heavily wooded rolling hill along the shore of Spring Lake. The campground provides excellent hiking and fishing opportunities. The North Country Trail is accessible from the campground, as well as the 21-mile Fife Lake Loop. This trail is great for visitors looking for an easy overnight hike.

There are 32 sites for tent and small trailer use. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well. The campground is located 2 miles southwest of Fife Lake via US-131. Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations.
