Graves Crossing State Forest Campground

This rustic campground is nestled along the pristine Jordan River in the Jordan River Valley. Located in Antrim County, 10 miles north of Mancelona.

This campground is managed by Young State Park.

This charming rustic campground is nestled in the Jordan River Valley. Visitors can enjoy canoeing, fishing, hiking and beautiful scenery located along the Jordan River, Michigan's first designated scenic river. There are 10 sites for tent and small trailer use. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well. The campground is located 10 miles north of Mancelona via US-131 and M-66. Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations.

Fishing

Fishing: Brown and rainbow trout, steelhead and salmon are caught in the Jordan River. Other nearby fishing opportunities include Intermediate Lake (eight miles west) and Lake Charlewoix (10 miles north).

Hunting: This campground provides access to state land open to hunting. Firearm hunting is not allowed within 450 feet of an occupied dwelling. Learn more about hunting.

Paddlesports: Explore the Jordan River from the campground. There is carry-in acess to the Jordan River located just to the east of the campground entrance.

Snowmobiling

Snowmobiling: There is a snowmobile trail that runs along M-66. The campground is not plowed in the winter, but is open year round for anyone who would like to camp while snowmobiling.
