Bass Lake State Forest Campground (Marquette)
Situated on the shore of Bass Lake, this rustic campground offers great opportunities for paddlesports and fishing. Located in Marquette County, 10 miles west of Gwinn.

This rustic campground is located on the east side of Bass Lake. There is a large grassy picnic area with two tables near the water’s edge. There is a large parking area for vehicles and boat trailers near the boat launch. The campsites are situated on a single loop and are heavily shaded. Some campsites have direct access to the water.
There are 22 sites for tent, small trailer and large trailer use. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well. This is a “carry-in, carry-out” unit. Trash barrels are not provided. Please help keep the campground clean and take camping refuse to dumpsters located at the Gwinn Field Office. The campground is located 10 miles west of Gwinn via M-35 North, Horseshoe Lake Road and West Crooked Lake Lane. Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations.
