Fox River State Forest Campground
Situated on a forested bluff above the Fox River, this rustic campground offers great opportunities for hiking and fishing. Located in Schoolcraft County, 5 miles northwest of Seney.

Nestled on a forested bluff along the Fox River, this rustic campground is popular among anglers. Noted for its wild brook trout fishery, scenery, history and recreation values, the Fox River is managed as a “natural river.” The river can be accessed directly from the campground by descending a set of stairs. There are a few different sets of stairs throughout the campground. Visitors can also hike the Fox River Pathway, which runs directly through the campground and can be accessed on the east or west side of the campground.
There are seven sites for tent, small trailer and large trailer use. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well. The campground is located five miles northwest of Seney via County Road 450.Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations.
