The Spring Brook pathway is located in the Mackinaw State Forest near the Charlevoix / Cheboygan / Otsego County Border. It is a hidden trail where adventure awaits in its two-loop, 2-mile journey through cedar swamps and ridges. If you venture on the first 1.5-mile loop, you will encounter the babbling Spring Brook and if you decide to venture along the second, .5-mile loop you will climb to the top of a ridge that overlooks the majority of Charlevoix County. The trail is perfect for hiking, biking and once the snowfalls, you’ll find the perfect spot to cross-country ski or snowshoe.
