More Information
Maybury State Park is a 1,000-acre haven nestled amidst developed land. Explore gently rolling terrain, open meadows and mature forests. The park offers a variety of outdoor adventures for all ages and interests, including trails open to hiking, cross-country skiing, mountain biking and horseback riding, an accessible playground, a fishing pond and a riding stable.
Learn about nature through educational programs, visit Northville Community Foundation's working farm, or enjoy a camping experience at the youth group-use campground.
The state acquired the land in 1971 from the City of Detroit following the closure of the Maybury Sanatorium that once occupied the site.

Thanks to the Friends of Maybury State Park for supporting the park. Additional support is provided by the Maybury Trail Riders Association and the Motor City Mountain Bike Association.
