Located in Alpena County, this 7-mile Norway Ridge Pathway is open to hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing and horseback riding. The trailhead is located 4.5 miles southwest of Alpena.

Norway Ridge Pathway is partially closed and under construction this winter. The loops up to trail marker 6 are open, however the crews working on boardwalk replacements will be accessing work locations via the trails. Please take precautions when using the open loops. The project consists of replacement of up to five boardwalk sections. The trail closure is expected to re-open by the first week of March.
Located in Alpena County, the 7-mile Norway Ridge Pathway travels by large red pines and through sandy ridges. The trail is suitable for hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing and horseback riding and is open for year-round use. The trailhead is located 4.5 miles southwest of Alpena via Werth Road.
The pathway is maintained with the help of the Thunder Bay Trails Association.
