Situated on the shore of the Platte River, this rustic campground offers great opportunities for paddles sports and fishing. Located in Benzie County, 2.5 miles southeast of Honor.

This campground is managed by Interlochen State Park.

This quaint, rustic campground sits on the majestic Platte River and is shaded by a thick canopy of Michigan hardwoods. There are excellent opportunities for paddle sports and fishing. The campground is located near the Platte River Hatchery.

There are 26 sites for tent and small trailer use. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well. The campground is located 2.5 miles southeast of Honor via US-31 and Goose Road. Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations.

Fishing Item is accessible.
Fishing: Brown trout, steelhead and coho are caught in the Platte River. Additional nearby fishing opportunities include Platte Lake (5 miles northwest) and Crystal Lake (7 miles west).
Hunting Item is accessible.
Hunting: This campground provides access to state land open to hunting. Firearm hunting is not allowed within 450 feet of an occupied dwelling. Learn more about hunting.
ORV Trails/Routes Item is accessible.
ORV Trails/Routes: This campground allows ORVs to be ridden from your campsite to access local ORV routes and other roads open for ORV use. All other ORV use within the campground is prohibited.
Paddlesports Item is accessible.
Paddlesports: The campground is accessible by water and there are fantastic paddling opportunities on the Platte River.
