Fishing: The Little Manistee River contains brown and rainbow trout. The river borders the campground to the east, along sites 21-26. Other nearby fishing opportunities include the Pine River (eight miles northeast).

Hunting: This campground provides access to state land open to hunting. Firearm hunting is not allowed within 450 ft. of an occupied dwelling. Learn more about hunting.
ORV Trails/Routes Item is accessible.
ORV Trails/Routes: Miles of state forest roads, county roads and designated ORV trails are available to explore in this area. From the campground, the Little Manistee Trail offers 46 miles of motorcycle trail and 47 miles of full-sized vehicle ORV route. Lincoln Hills, located just seven miles northwest, has 21 miles of cycle/ATV trail and 23 miles of full-sized vehicle ORV route. Tin Cup Springs, found nine miles to the northeast, has 21 miles of motorcycle trail and 26 miles full-sized vehicle ORV route. ORVs can be ridden from campsites to access these routes; all other ORV use within the campground is prohibited.
