Resting on the shores of Big and Little Leverentz Lakes, this campground is a perfect destination for paddling, hiking, fishing and more. The campground is in Lake County, 2.7 miles east of Baldwin.

This secluded, rustic campground sits on the shores of Little and Big Leverentz Lakes. The campground is split into two sections, with sites 1-11 on Big Leverentz Lake and sites 12-18 on Little Leverentz Lake. There is access to the Sheep Ranch Pathway from both campgrounds, as well as excellent fishing opportunities. Big Leverentz Lake features a boat launch.

The campground is in Lake County, 2.7 miles east of Baldwin via US-10 and Forest Drive. All sites will accommodate tents and small trailers, but some sites can accommodate 30-foot trailers/vehicles. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well. Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations.

Fishing: Bass, blue gill, pike, perch, crappie can be found in both Big Leverentz Lake and Little Leverentz Lake. A nearby fishing opportunity is the Pere Marquette River located five miles south.

ORV Trails/Routes Item is accessible.
ORV Trails/Routes: There are many miles of county roads and designated ORV trails in this area including Little O/ Big O (four miles northwest) with 40+ miles of motorcycle trail and 30 miles of cycle/ATV trail, Tin Cup Springs (nine miles northeast) with 21 miles of motorcycle trail and 26 miles full-sized vehicle ORV route, Little Manistee (11 miles north) with 46 miles of motorcycle trail and 47 miles of full-sized vehicle ORV route with a connector trail to Lincoln Hills. ORVs can be ridden from a campsite to access these routes. All other ORV use within the campground is prohibited. Find more information about Off-Road Vehicles .
