No reservations. 33 sites for tent and small trailer use nestled within the Martiny Flooding Area. This chain of lakes is locally famous for its endless fishing, boating, and relaxation opportunities. Campground consists of a Mainland and an Island. Rustic campground includes vault toilets and potable water from well hand pump.

Fishing: Martiny Chain of lakes (on site): Bass, Bluegill, Northern Pike, Yellow Perch, Warmouth, Pumpkinseed, Black Crappie, Bullhead, and Dogfish.
Watchable Wildlife Item is accessible.
Watchable Wildlife: The area has become an important nesting area for wood ducks and bald eagles. Osprey, swans, geese, and other waterfowl also inhabit the flooding. During the spring and fall migration periods, the area is an important resting and feeding area for thousands of birds. A unique feature of Tubbs Lake is its naturally occurring stand of wild rice. Wild rice across Michigan in uncommon and has greatly reduced in numbers. Only about a half a dozen good stands of wild rice still exist in the state.

Boat Launch: Several boat ramps around the Martiny Chain of lakes offer access to Tubbs Lake (from mainland and island), Big Evans Lake, and Lower Evans Lake. Channels connect Big Evans, Saddlebag, Boom, Lost, Tubbs, Dogfish, Bullhead, and Manaka Lakes (weather/vegetation permitting).
