Glidden Lake State Forest Campground
This rustic campground is surrounded by tall pines on the eastern shore of Glidden Lake. Located in Iron County, 5.7 miles southeast of Crystal Falls.

This peaceful rustic campground sits on the eastern shore of Glidden Lake. The campsites are surrounded by natural forested growth. The day-use area has a gravel boat launch and a sandy swim area.
Access to the Lake Mary Plains Pathway trailhead is located just steps from the campground and day-use parking lot. The Lake Mary Plains Pathway system takes visitors on several connected trails totaling more than 9 miles of beautiful Upper Peninsula rolling terrain. Trail sections are marked and maps are posted on site.
There are 23 sites for tent and small trailer use. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well. The campground is a "carry-in, carry-out," which means there are no trash barrels provided, so please plan trash removal accordingly. The campground is located 5.7 miles southeast of Crystal Falls via M-69 East. Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations.
