More Information

The modern campground is divided into three loops. Most sites are generous in size and are shaded by oaks, maples, beech and pine trees. The campground is within a short five-minute walk of a designated swimming beach and adjacent to trails, dune access and Little Black Creek. There is 20/30-amp electrical service available on each site (some sites also offer 50-amp service) and a sanitation station. Recycling is available.

There are four semi-modern and two ADA-accessible sites in the campground:

  • There are four semi-modern sites (sites B1, B2, C1 and C2) that do not offer electrical service.
  • There are two ADA-accessible sites with a crushed limestone surface.

Alcohol Restrictions: You may not possess or consume an alcoholic beverage in the campground April 1 through Labor Day.

Swimming:

There is a designated swim area within a short five-minute walk of the campground.

Please be mindful of Great Lakes beach safety and high-water safety. Pay attention to the beach flag warning system in designated swim areas; red flags indicate the water is unsafe and no one should swim in or enter the water.

Electrical Service: The vast majority of sites have either 20- and 30-amp service. There is 50-amp service on a handful of sites. *There are four sites that are considered semi-modern and do not have electrical service.

Modern Restrooms: There are three modern toilet and shower buildings centrally located in each campground loop.

Playground: A play structure is centrally located in the campground.
Sanitation Station Item is accessible.
Sanitation Station: The park’s sanitation station is located just past the campground office (and on way to the C Loop). There is potable water and two lanes.

Enjoy 3 miles of sandy shoreline stretching along Lake Michigan.
