More Information
The planned park upgrades to the toilet and shower building, water/sewage systems, sanitation station and contact station, originally scheduled for an earlier date, will require the modern campground and lodge to be closed throughout the 2025 season. A proposed $5.4 million in federal relief funding from Gov. Whitmer's Building Michigan Together Plan made these renovations possible.
The 1920s-era Sears and Roebuck Lodge, located near the campground entrance, sleeps eight. The three bedrooms are outfitted with three queen-size beds and a set of bunk beds. Amenities includes two futons, a table/chairs, refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes and cookware. There are a grill (charcoal not provided), fire pit and picnic table outdoors. Guests must provide their own linens.
Guests are expected to clean the lodge prior to their departure.
The lodge is open year-round.
