Located in Alpena County, this pathway travels through a northern white cedar swamp and offers 9 miles of trail. The trailhead is located 11 miles west of Ossineke.

Located near Alpena, the Chippewa Hills Pathway provides a variety of terrain for hiking, biking and skiing adventures. With almost 9 miles of trails and four possible loops, the trial provides an opportunity to travel through a beautifully dense forest. The trail is groomed for cross-country skiing in the winter. The trailhead is 11 miles west of Ossineke via Nicholson Road and Kissau Road.
The pathway is maintained with the help of the Thunder Bay Trails Association.
