Due to park enhancements to update water distribution, toilet and shower buildings, the sanitation station, the sewage system and contact station, the park will close Sept. 4, 2024 through June 15, 2025. em>A proposed $5.4 million in federal relief funding from Gov. Whitmer's Building Michigan Together Plan made these and other renovations possible.
This rustic group campground can accommodate 30 campers. The site provides picnic tables and a fire pit. There are two drinking fountains and jug fillers within walking distance. To reserve the group camp area, please call 989-734-2543. When the Sunrise Pavilion is not rented, modern restrooms are available.
