The Dry Marsh trail, located within the Waterloo Recreation Area, is a short, 0.5-mile trail that encircles a marsh. From March to November it is perfect for hiking and nature-viewing and during the winter, it is great for cross country skiing. The trailhead is located between the Waterloo Campground and the beach parking lot next to the baseball field.
