The park's vehicle entrance is closed thru October 2024. The paved trail connection to Kensington Metropark is also closed for repairs. Visitors can still enjoy the park by parking in perimeter parking areas and walking/bicycling into the park. A proposed $2.95 million in federal relief funding from Gov. Whitmer's Building Michigan Together Plan made these and other renovations possible.

There are two sites available for groups of up to 50. Each site provides a picnic table and fire pit. There is a hand pump for water and a vault toilet. Reservations can be made by calling the park office at 810-229-7067.
