Lake Hudson-Semi-modern Campground
Lake Hudson Recreation Area
More Information
This semi-modern campground includes 48 campsites and two cabins. The campsites, considered large and private, provide some shade. Potable water is available via a hand pump at the entrance to the campground. The campground is located near the lake, and some sites have a lake view. There are no modern restrooms; however, vault toilets are available.
Campsite electrical pedestals are often located between campsites, which may require an additional 50-foot extension cord.
The park is home to a dark sky preserve – the first in Michigan’s state park system – offering excellent night-sky viewing.
About the Area
