The 7-mile Cedar River Trail includes three different sections,the Timber, Evergreen and Ridgewood loops. The trail connects the majority of the park, including the Lake Michigan shoreline, the modern campground, the accessible playground, the park’s rustic cabins and more. It’s a popular year-round destination for hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

You’ll find three warming shelters located along the trail. There is wood provided for building fires.
