The Deer Run Trail is a 2-mile loop that connects to the park’s other three trails via the Huron Trail. The trail leads visitors through a variety of terrain, including forested dunes, an oak and pine savanah and wetlands. The trail can be accessed from either end of the campground via the Candlestick Trail and Huron Trail. There is parking (that directly accesses the Candlestick Trail) available at park headquarters, 6573 State Park Road in Caseville.

Cross-Country Skiing Item is accessible.
Cross-Country Skiing: The trail is groomed for cross-country skiing during the winter months (approximately mid-December through February).

Mountain Biking Item is accessible.
Mountain Biking: All the park’s trails are open to mountain biking. The trails have few elevation changes and are considered relatively easy.
Snowshoeing Item is accessible.
Snowshoeing: Snowshoers are asked to stay off tracks groomed for cross-country skiing.
