The 2.75-mile trail (one way) takes you to the Lake Michigan shoreline. The terrain varies from steep slopes to rolling dune hills, making it a moderately difficult route. Visitors will encounter the 300-acre Patty Birkholz Natural Area, deep dune forests and picturesque views of Lake Michigan. Follow the blue post markers.
