The park’s 6-mile trail consists of three loops. The trail encircles Lake Minnawanna, offering scenic views of the lake and taking visitors through hardwood and pine forests and open meadows. There are two footbridges that cross Farmer’s Creek.

The trail can be accessed at several points, including the camp store, the designated swim beach area and picnic shelter parking areas. If visitors want to create a full loop, they can follow the day-use road from the beach to the camp store parking lot.
