Maybury-Mountain Biking Trail
Maybury State Park
More Information
The park features 7 miles of forested, single-track trails open to mountain biking year-round. The mountain biking trail is shown in yellow on the Maybury trail map and guide and is marked with yellow confidence markers along trail.
Mainly trekked by mountain bikers, the trail includes steep climbs, rock and root obstacles and engineered obstacles. The trail is well maintained, with some technical features considered suitable for intermediate riders. Hiking is also permitted along this trail, so hikers are advised to hike in the opposite direction of bikers for safety reasons.
The mountain biking trail is accessed from the mixed-use paved trail, which is shared by hikers, bikers and other users. Please park in parking areas at the Eight Mile Road park entrance.
Winter fat-tire bike riding is made available through volunteer efforts of the Motor City Mountain Bike Association.
