Maybury-Hiking Trail
Maybury State Park
More Information
The park has 6 miles of trail dedicated to hiking, shown in green on the Maybury trail map and guide. Portions of the trail are marked as an interpretive and history trail.
The trail consists of several interconnecting loops leading from the parking areas through the wooded interior of the park and the grassland area northeast of the ballfield and traveling east to the pond. The trail stretches from one end of the park to the other, making it the perfect way to see the park on foot. In the spring, the area is filled with trilliums.
Access the trail from the parking areas at either the Eight Mile Road or Beck Road park entrances.
A portion of the hiking trail is track-set groomed for cross-country skiing and open to snowshoeing in the winter as conditions allow.
