The 54-mile Bridge to Bay Trail follows the St. Clair River from New Baltimore in Macomb County to Algonac State Park in St. Clair County and north to Lakeport State Park in St. Clair County. The trail connects trail users to downtowns, neighborhoods, parks, museums, beaches, lighthouses and more.

The trail is diverse in style and includes boardwalks, river walks and rail trails in both urban and natural settings along the waterfront and inland corridors.

The St. Clair County Parks and Recreation Commission is working in conjunction with 13 local units of government to connect and complete the 54-mile trail. The county helps to plan and promote the trail, while local entities are responsible for constructing their section of trail..
