Metamora-Hadley Camper Cabin
Metamora-Hadley Recreation Area
More Information
The enhancement project to update electrical, water and sewer improvements have been completed. As a result, reservations for 2025 dates will become available Monday, Dec. 2 at 8 a.m. A proposed $5.91 million in federal relief funding from Gov. Whitmer's Building Michigan Together Plan made renovations possible.
The camper cabin is located on a bluff overlooking Lake Minnawanna in a private area in the north loop.
The cabin sleeps six and includes an outdoor deck. There are two small bedrooms, one with a bunk bed and one with a double bed. The living room has a full-size futon, a microwave, a mini fridge, lamps and a ceiling fan. A picnic table, a fire pit and a cook grill can be found outdoors.
A modern toilet building (shared by both camper cabins and day-use visitors) is available just a short walk away. A vault toilet is available all year.
