Proud Lake-Camper Cabin
Proud Lake Recreation Area
More Information
There are two accessible camper cabins (Ivy and Trillium) overlooking Powers Beach, which connects to the Huron River. The cabins sleep six and include an outdoor deck. There are two small bedrooms, each with a bunk bed. The living room has a full-size futon, a microwave, a mini fridge, lamps and a ceiling fan. A picnic table, a fire pit and a cooking grill can be found outdoors.
A modern toilet building (shared by both camper cabins and day-use visitors) is available about 300 feet from the cabin May 1-Oct. 31. A vault toilet is available all year.
Guests must provide their own linens. You must also bring your own potable water when the modern toilet building is closed.
The cabin is open year-round.
