Orchard Beach-Camper Cabin
Orchard Beach State Park
More Information
Due to high water and erosion, access to the beach (only available via the stairs) is closed.
Due to a planned enhancement project to renovate the toilet and shower buildings, the modern campground will close Sept. 2, 2025 for the season. If the timeline changes, the dates will be posted here. A proposed $2.5 million in federal relief funding from Gov. Whitmer's Building Michigan Together Plan made these and other renovations possible.
The camper cabin is in the modern campground and features a great view of Lake Michigan. The cabin sleeps up to six people and is equipped with bunk beds and a pull-out couch, electricity, refrigerator, microwave, table/chair and fire circle. There is no running water, but potable water is located nearby. You must provide your own cookware, linens and towels.
