Trout Lake State Forest Campground
Situated along the banks of Trout Lake, this rustic campground offers great opportunities for fishing and hiking. It is located in Gladwin County, 3 miles northeast of Meredith.

This secluded, rustic campground is home to 35 campsites near the scenic and wild Trout Lake. The campground is also within the Gladwin Field Trail Area. Learn more about designated field trial area rules. The campground is split into three smalls loops. The area offers excellent fishing, hiking and paddling opportunities. There is trail access to the nearby Trout Lake Pathway, which is a beautiful 2.8-mile loop. The campground neighbors House Lake State Forest Campground to the south.
There are 35 sites for tent and small trailer use. Site 19 is a pull-through site. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well. The campground is located 17 miles north of Gladwin via M-18 N and Adams Road. Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations.
