There are two mini cabins located withnin the campground named White Pine Cabin and Cedar Cabin. The cabins are designed to sleep four people, with bunks and mattresses provided. The cabins each have electricity and lights. The cabins have recently been remodeled with new ceramic tile floors, new paint, new mattresses and new handmade wood furniture. Each cabin has a paved parking area with a picnic table and firepit on site.

For the fishing and boating enthusiast state-managed boat launch in Lexington is ten miles north of the park. The Port Huron State Game Area is within a 15 minute drive and provides opportunities for hiking year round and hunting in season. For the shopper, Birchwood Mall is about five miles south of the park.
