Pigeon River State Forest Campground
This rustic, wooded campground is located on the banks of the Pigeon River, deep within the Pigeon River Country State Forest. Located in Otsego County, 13.5 miles east of Vanderbilt.
This campground is managed by Otsego Lake State Park.

Secluded within a scenic woodland along the Pigeon River, this beautiful rustic campground provides access to hiking trails, fishing opportunities and wildlife hunting. There are 14 sites for tent and small trailer use. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well. The campground is located 13.5 miles east of Vanderbilt via Sturgeon Valley Road and Twin Lakes Road. Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations.
