Holly Oaks ORV Park
More Information
Holly Oaks ORV Park is open to all types of ORVs, including full-size vehicles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles or ATVs and motorcycles. Consisting of former and active sand and gravel mines, the park is located off I-75 (at Grange Hall) and Dixie Highway near Groveland Oaks County Park and Campground. It's considered part of Holly Recreation Area.
The "North 60" is a "scramble area" in which riders are free to make their own paths. It is crisscrossed with old mining roads and features extreme terrain that ranges from mud flats to 40’ vertical cliffs.
The "North 60," like the rest of Holly Oaks ORV Park, is ride at your own risk. Hazards constantly change in an old mine site. Vehicles operators should be aware of the terrain in front of them before they proceed.
Holly Oaks is a joint state-county project operated by Oakland County Parks in a partnership with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
