This modern campground is just steps away from Little Traverse Bay on Lake Michigan. There are paved pads at each site. All sites have 20- and 30-amp service, and a handful of sites have 50-amp service. There is an overflow parking area available for additional vehicles and guests. Recycling is available.
A free trolley runs between the state park and downtown Petoskey during the summer months. A route schedule is posted in the campground.
Please note that pets are not allowed along the lakeshore. Pets are welcome in other areas of the park. Pets must always be on a six-foot leash and under an owner’s immediate control. All pet waste must be properly disposed of in trash receptacles.
About the Area
The park is located between Harbor Springs and Petoskey, both known for their shopping districts, harbors and more. Oden Fish Hatchery is just a short drive from the park and a great destination for anyone interested in how brook and brown trout are raised.
