Maybury-Equestrian Trail
Maybury State Park
More Information
The park features 8 miles of looped horseback riding trails open year-round. The trails traverse gently rolling terrain, open meadows and mature forests abundant with wildlife and wildflowers.
Horses are permitted only on marked trails. These trails are shown in red on the trail map and guide and marked with red confidence markers along the trail. There is no hunting within the park.
Riders can trailer horses to a staging area located off the Beck Road park entrance, south of Eight Mile Road. The staging area includes a pavilion, vault toilets, picnic tables, picket posts and a community fire ring. In addition, there are mounting blocks and hitch posts located along the trail. There is no overnight camping.
The Maybury Trail Riders Association advocates for trail riding experiences and facilitates group trail riding events in the park. For more information, follow Maybury Trail Riders on Facebook.
