The 5-mile, looped trail winds through beach and maple hardwood forests and throughout the historic townsite. Visitors will enjoy scenic views from the overlook trail. Access points can be found near the campground and the historic townsite.

Cross Country Ski: Cross-county skiing is a popular activity on the trail. The trails are groomed for classic skiing.

Mountain Biking Item is accessible.
Mountain Biking: All 5 miles of the looped trail are open to mountain biking and fat-tire biking, although the route is not groomed (please avoid tracks set for cross-country skiing). The terrain is considered easy.
Snowshoeing Item is accessible.
Snowshoeing: Snowshoers are asked to stay off tracks groomed for cross-country skiing.
