The 1.5-mile Coast Guard Trail begins in the Beechwood Campground and leads visitors to a scenic view of Lake Michigan. Experience wooded dune areas and marshes, including views of some of the larger trees and dunes in the park. The trail connects to the park’s three other campgrounds, so it is a frequently travelled trail. Most of the trails intersect with the park’s other trails, so visitors can easily create longer and/or looped routes.
