The trail is a particularly relaxing walk along the dam and river. Interpretive panels help tell the story of the village of Hamlin and the area’s logging history.
More Information
The Sable River Trail is paved and stretches approximately 1.5 miles. The trail is a particularly relaxing walk along the dam and river. Interpretive panels help tell the story of the village of Hamlin and the area’s logging history. Hikers will often see anglers along the route, as the area is a prime spot for salmon fishing in the fall and steelhead fishing in the spring. Most of the trails intersect with the park’s other trails, so visitors can easily create longer and/or looped routes.
