Bewabic-Modern Campground
Bewabic State Park
More Information
The 130-site modern campground features three loops (A, B and C) and boasts a number of shady and wooded sites. The sites are popular because they offer a little more privacy, with trees and vegetation between most sites. There are four rustic walk-in campsites (#107-110) that require a short walk (within 125 yards) from the parking lot (no electrical).
Bewabic is one of just a few state parks that allow the operation of an ORV between the campground and nearby ORV trails. ORV use is for exiting and entering the park only, not for traveling within the park.
ORV route and trail maps are available for purchase at the park (pending availability) or by visiting MI-TRALE.org (online maps of signed ATV, side-by-side and multiuse trails in the Western Upper Peninsula) or the DNR’s interactive ORV route and trail map.
