The West Lakeshore campground is located along the Lake Michigan shoreline (campsites #401-471). Most sites are within view of the shoreline. The campground features a number of accessible features, including the toilet and shower building, beach access, walkways and four barrier-free sites. All sites have 20- and 30-amp electrical service, and 19 sites also have 50-amp. The campground was remodeled in 2019.
Modern restrooms are available mid-May through mid-October.

A designated swim area is located adjacent to the campground. A beach wheelchair is available to borrow from the campground host (campsite #416).
Please be mindful of Great Lakes beach safety. Pay attention to the beach flag warning system in designated swim areas; red flags indicate the water is unsafe and no one should swim in or enter the water. DO NOT swim near or jump off break walls or navigational channel walls and pay attention to changing conditions.

Enjoy 26 miles of sandy shoreline stretching along Lake Michigan, including Temperance and Waugoshance islands located off the tip of Waugoshance Point.
