I am a PhD student working with Ed Rutherford, Michael Wiley, and James Diana studying the ecology, biogeography, and conservation of the spotted gar Lepisosteus oculatus in Michigan. I received my B.S. in Biology from Ohio Northern University and M.S. in Aquatic Sciences from the University of Michigan. I also specialize in the ecology & conservation of other anachronistic fishes (lungfishes, bowfin, bichirs) and plan on teaching after completing my graduate studies.
